“Tomorrow may be hell, but today was a good writing day, and on the good writing days nothing else matters.” ― Neil Gaiman
I am an aspiring novelist I have spent the past ten years working on the same novel but have been treading water on it never finishing a draft but instead restarting it over and over again. I really want to be a published novelist as well as a TV writer. However, my major is actually IT: help desk. I'm hoping to be able to pay the bills while I work on my portfolio.
I decided DCCC since it seems like a really good place for second chances. I failed out of college when I first tried to go fresh out of high school and since then have really worked on improving my mental health. I also want the sense of accomplishment in actually finishing something (an associates)
I feel like this course can really help me get back into the groove of writing both for my passion project(s) and for a 9-5 job.
I want to be remembered as someone who is truly passionate about writing.I want to be remembered for really working on improving my writing through hard work and dedication. I want to be remembered as someone who helps my peers and gratefully accepts help from my peers.
